Metrorail Paragraph for SSC HSC Students

Metrorail is a modern train system in Bangladesh. It is fast, safe, and comfortable. The first Metrorail in our country is called MRT Line-6. It started in Dhaka on December 28, 2022. This train runs from Uttara to Motijheel. It helps people travel quickly without traffic jams.

Metrorail runs on electricity, so it does not cause air pollution. The train is fully air-conditioned, and there are special seats for women and disabled people. Each train has six coaches and can carry more than 2,000 passengers at a time. The train doors open and close automatically, and passengers need a smart card to enter.

The government of Bangladesh built the Metrorail to reduce traffic and save time. It was made with the help of Japan under the JICA project. The full route will have 16 stations and will be 21.16 km long. Now, people can reach their destination in just 30-40 minutes, which earlier took 2-3 hours by bus.

Metrorail is a great achievement for our country. It makes travel easy and saves fuel. It also helps Dhaka become a smart city. More Metrorail lines will be built in the future to help more people. We should all follow the rules while using the Metrorail and keep it clean.
